Publication in R&D Management

Publication in R&D Management
14. March 2023. Very proud to share with you my latest academic contribution in R&D Management on Entrepreneur Sourcing and alternative types of Business Incubation performance outcomes! This paper investigates the effects of entrepreneur sourcing on business incubation performance. The focus on business incubator performance usually is on how well it’s start-ups perform or how well an incubator provides its services to start-ups. In this paper I focus on how an incubator performs in terms of outcomes for its sponsors. I distinguish 4 main categories: learning, earning, returning. and branding. Moreover, I look at how these outcomes are affected by where entrepreneurs are sourced from. Find the article in the link below!

Early Stage Venture Capital for StartUps
Coimbra, 7 September 2022. Portugal Ventures, the Portuguese Space Office, ESA BIC Portugal and ESA teaming up to offer Portuguese start-ups early access to venture capital. Its an important step to demonstrate that venture capital funding can be engaged with start-ups at a much earlier stage when vision and investment strategy are aligned with our rising stars. How appropriate to be celebrating this deal at the Coimbra University's Observatory!
